Hult Center for the Performing Arts
Eugene, Oregon

The hub for the emerging arts and culture district, the stunning modern exterior of this building clad in transparent glass bathe the entry with light and warmth. Mimicking an Oregon forest, Douglas fir columns tower like trees supporting the gabled glass above and cantilevered staircases float into the lobby like a tree canopy linking the concert halls together. A system of concealed connections joins the wooden skeleton creating a seamless elegant space.
